Dominique Massoth has dedicated her life to improving education for children as a tutor, teacher, and professional in educational psychology.
Even at a young age, Dominique knew she wanted to pursue a career in education. She always loved school and has always been passionate about helping others. Throughout her life, she has remained highly active in the community: babysitting, tutoring, volunteering, supervising at summer camps, and beyond. She is passionate about staying involved and helping to make the world a better place.
Early Career and Achievements:
Before pursuing her career in education, Dominique Massoth began working as a Dental Assistant and Researcher. In 2004, she received a research grant from the California Dental Association, later presenting and publishing work related to the “Effects of Xylitol on S. Mutans in Children”.
Education:
Soon after from 2006 to 2010, Dominique went on to attend the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2014, she had completed her Masters degree in Educational Psychology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. She is currently working towards achieving a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from National University in Los Angeles to further her involvement in the field of children’s education.
Professional Career:
While working towards her Master’s, Dominique Massoth began gaining experiences in the classroom and school setting taking on fieldwork training and leading behavioral evidence-based cases. Working alongside school psychologists at various institutions including the University of the Pacific, the Lodi Unified School District, and the Lincoln Unified School District, Dominique helped to design and implement behavioral evidenced-based interventions in schools for students with special needs struggling with reading and/or emotional difficulties. She helped complete comprehensive psychological evaluations of students with unique disabilities and additionally led a counseling group for young girls on body image and self esteem.
Currently, Dominique works as a professional in Educational Therapy and Intervention at the ILearn2Learn Academy in Los Angeles where their mission is to provide students with private tutoring to help each child gain valuable learning experiences and education in their own unique and individualized way.
Alongside her work in educational psychology, Dominique Massoth dedicated much of her free time working as a tutor for children of all ages and learning abilities. She tutored in a variety of subjects including Math, French, and Reading.
Whether Dominique is putting in work as a tutor, teacher, or school psychologist, she is dedicated to providing the best learning environment possible for her students so that they are able to achieve their educational, social, and professional goals throughout their lives.
